Hole Seven - Par 5

An 80 metre saunter down hill from the sixth, to your trundler you parked under the wonderful flowering cherry trees. Now we have reached the 7th which is a great par 5 with the river flowing down the left side. An extremely daunting driving hole from the blue tees. Try to get the ball into the wide and straight fairway but don't hit it left! A short drive calls for your second long iron or fairway wood to turn the ball through the gentle dog leg to the right.

All you need is a good drive to set up your second shot. But, a copse of pines to the right and more pines with some natives to the left of the fairway makes you want to keep that second on the short grass. For your third, through the swale and up to a large yet reasonably flat green, a birdie is a realistic chance. A great hole which will reward a well placed tee ball and good second and third shots.
